Captain Annabelle LeValle was tall, thin, and very striking. Beautiful, elegant, and graceful in appearance, with her short black hair and dull blue eyes, one would not immediately suspect her, despite the immaculate UE dress uniform, as a Captain in the United Earth Navy, and definitely not a very decorated officer devoted to tracking down the captain of Plunder's Heart and bringing him to justice.
But Annabelle LeValle, it was well known, joined the military specifically to track down Captain Hart, her nemesis. No one was entirely sure just what had happened between them to bring such dedicated wrath from her to him, but she had, more than once, sworn to bring Jonah Hart to his knees, regardless of the cost.
And right now, she, along with her top staff, was planning just that.
"Any sightings of the Heart?" She asked inside the war room. Mr. Jiles, her communication officer, shook his head.
"No Ma'am. Beyond the usual rumors that place him at the Cove or Aphrodite Arms, nothing."
She turned to Ms. Rochelle, her information officer. Rochelle was already beginning her report. "Nothing, Ma'am, though I do have a list of a few high-profile transports they're likely to hit." She handed her captain a computer tablet.
Annabelle looked through it for approximately five seconds before saying, "The military vehicle transport. We move to intercept and escort immediately."
Her crew nodded and left to go prepare. For anyone else, they may have protested her certainty, but for Annabelle LeValle, the first rule of warfare was to know your enemy.
And she had proven in the past to know Jonah Hart all too well.
