"So, crew, it's time for a wonderful new mission." Captain Hart beamed in the assembly room. "Drusilda LeValle was on her way to meet her eldest son when our old friend Captain Thorn Scarsgard, second most infamous pirate in the galaxy, snatched her off the ship with intention to hold ransom. Right now, he's at the Cove with his crew. We, ladies and gentlemen, are going to take her right from under his nose."
Captain Hart had a smile on his face that indicated that the plan he had come up with amused him greatly.
"Now, with the exception of the Captain and his first mate, no one on Thorn's crew is worth an empty bottle of rum. I'm not sure what we'll do to get Ms. Corvus out of the way. However, I do know how we can get Thorn out of the way. Y'see, according to information Miss Aphrodite graciously gifted us with, Thorn has a definitive type. Tall, willowy, serious looking...." He trailed off and looked directly at Andromeda, whose eyes were wide with apprehension.
"Wha....I am not one of Madame A's whores, Jonah. What make you think..."
"If you keep him busy, I will give you a ten percent raise and never make you talk to Aphrodite again." Hart interrupted casually. Andi paused and said, "Deal."
"Dane, I want you and whoever you see fit to get a plan of extraction, which includes getting past Ms. Corvus. Don't kill her. Let's extend some professional courtesy. As for you, Jane, why don't you help Dr. Reyes slip into something a bit more comfortable?"

Andromeda turned an interesting shade of red at Hart's last remark, and at the wide-eyed grins and snickers suddenly being thrown her way.
Oh God, what have I just gotten myself into?
Keep him busy, the Captain said. Easier said than done. Andromeda had been far too focused on her career in her youth to pay attention to boys or relationships, or even much of a social life, period. She hadn't the faintest clue how to act coy and flirtatious, let alone keep someone of Thorn Scarsgard's experience "occupied."
Andromeda hadn't ever met him face to face, but she had heard of him before, in the past two years of flying with this crew. The Captain of the Mjollnir was the Plunder's Heart's only real compitition, in their particular line of work. And given what the captain had just said--that most of that was due to Thorn and his First Mate alone--he was even more intimidating and frightening of a concept.
Still . . . she could really use that raise. And never having to look at Aphrodite's face again--no matter how nice she had seemed at dinner--was an added bonus she almost didn't dare contemplate. When Jane suddenly sauntered up to her though, leering grin on her face, she suddenly wanted to bolt for the med-bay and lock the door.
"C'mon sexy-legs," the shameless pilot crowed, dark eyebrows wagging. "Time for you and me to go play dress up."
